Wan
Qiong was born in the metropolis of Shanghai, China. Her strengths lie
in her traditional water colour paintings whose sheets encompass areas
of anywhere from one to two metres. Her works display a series
depicting obscured visages.
The Austrian-born, Karin Zeiner creates in pop-art like
style using acrylics on canvas, emotions of the human face in large
uniformly colour fields with very subtle colour accents.
